Win a February Release. I have four books coming out in February (March is looking a little low but I started out strong this year LOL). I thought I’d start by offering your choice of February ebook release. If you’ve already pre-ordered all of my books than you are of course my new favorite fan and can choose any other ebook I have coming out. Since I’m focused in my move right now I thought I’d ask the question: Where is your favorite place to live. You can even choose a place you’d like to live but haven’t had the chance yet.
Enjoy and I’ll post the blog story in a bit.

I’ve always wanted to live in New Mexico. It’s very artsy and beautiful in a colourful way I’ve never gotten by living in more wooded areas. I love the pinks and purples of the dessert plus the prospect of.going to.the Balloon Festival.
Since I live in Arizona I think I would like to live somewhere greener like Hawaii lol
Wish to live where the weather is warm all the time no snow, no cold. Carribean?(sp?)
I have 3 very different places I’d love to move to. Seattle, love everything about the city. Las Vegas, sin city, need I say more. And someplace in the Florida keys, sun, sand, and water. Ahhh!
I love living in Texas! I’ve lived i several parts of it, but currently am near Austin, which is nice because we can easily go to San Antonio, Waco, Houston, or Dallas to visit.
I live in Port St Lucie, FL. I love it. Weather is great since we are located in South Florida but the best part is we have a small town feel. Many of our residents are older and/or disabled. So everyone is very friendly and understanding when my husband has problems walking across the parking lot, etc. I really love my town and can’t wait for the day I can find a job near home.
I loved it when I lived in Plano, Texas. If I could I would move my family there.
I love living in western mt. Although at the moment it is raining instead of snow
My first love, Ireland, if not, then Japan.
I grew up in So California and it was great, but I’ve lived in Montana for the last 7 yrs and I like it so much better – the mountains and clear blue sky and yes, we get cold snowy winters but it’s lovely and at least there are seasons (fall is my fav), and finally, there arent a gazillion people everywhere.
I live in a small town in the same state i grew up in and I think I would like to live out in the western states like Arizona or Colorado:) of course, I love my home and where I LIVE.
I only moved 2 minutes away from my parents so I lived in the same area my whole life…. But if I had my choice I’d be Ireland, the pictures I’ve seen are beautiful and I would love to wake up to them sights everyday!
brandon_savannah@yahoo.com
I”d be living in Ireland***
sorry typo
My dream is to live right on the water. A lake will do but I would prefer the ocean. For it to be perfect, I would be able to look out my bedroom window and see my private beach. I wouldn’t care if it was some place that had snow because then I would be able to take awesome winter photos of the ocean anytime that I wanted.
I really love living here in Waco it big but not too big and we have everyone we need around here I don’t think I would be anywhere else:)
I moved to Northern Arizona this past year and love where I live. The only drawback right now is the cold. But that still would not make me want to move.
I loved living in Dallas and Chicagoland but I have wanted to live in Seattle since I was in college but never got there. I just need to win the lottery, visit every state in the union and then make an informed decision!!
I live in East Tennessee and always have. I can’t imagine living anywhere else. It’s close to the beautiful Smoky Mountains but not so far from places like Atlanta or Asheville or Charleston or Savannah that you can’t go for short weekend visits.
Since it is January in the Ohio, I would most definitely say anywhere warm, at least for the winter months! Although if I could pick anywhere in the world, it would be somewhere in Europe. Went last fall and visited Germany, Luxembourg, France, Switzerland and Austria. What beautiful country vistas they have and very quaint towns. It’s wonderful to dream about those places, and of course that is why I enjoy a good story that incorporates travel to exotic locales…
I would have to say i love living in my small hometown in Washington state i have lived here my whole life. but i think i would love to live in Sydney Australia. All those Aussie accents!! YUM!
Currently living in eastern central FL area. Would love to mOve to N GA or NC. Want the small town laid back atmosphere. Want water but could care less about the ocean. Wouldn’t mind a vacation home in Las Vegas.
. As my daddy use to say: want in one hand, spit in the other; see which one gets full faster. Have a great day!
Well I live in Florida and I love it. However, for the last year I have been wanting to move to Montana. I would really like to live there.
I would like to live in Hawaii. It is one place that I found where not only was the weather warm, but so is the water. And I am so a sand and water person whenever I can.
Maine Coast hands down: salty air, never too hot, tide pools to explore and blueberries to pick, and don’t forget the easy access to lobster!
San Antonio is now home, but I would have to say Okinawa, Japan. I was stationed there for 3 years and the island is wonderful, the people are the nicest people I have ever meet and lastly while I am married now, but back then it was a woman’s paradise. It was an average of 21 men to women with all the military there and a Navy ship coming in every two months, hey I may be happily married but I still can enjoy the eye candy
Alsoi it is nice for raising a family, the activities you can do there are numerous that I never felt confined by the fact I was on a island. Of all my assignments it is the one I miss the most.
My favourite place to live is in the countryside… I hate cities.. Although there huge it is so crowded and noisy.. I love being able to relax enjoy the quiet and be able to see the stars at nite.. Without the orange tinge in the sky caused by the city lights…
I always wanted to live in Ireland,Dublin to be precise but we are currently planning a move to a different part of Nottinghamshire instead. Dublin would be too far away from my Grandchildren, two of whom we’ve yet to get, lol
I have always wanted to live in England,Ireland or Scotland. Maybe when I blow out the candles on my birthday cake tonight might wish might come true
I’m happy to live just where I am. It’s Hawaii after all!
I’d like to live in Oregon. It has a temperate climate from what I’ve read. I’d like to get away from the snow and ice of New England.
by the ocean somewhere i live in the midwest and i miss it
My fave place to live? Where am at now – NEW YORK!!
I love Wyoming. I grew up in the south so I really prefer less humidity. I love that it gets cold and that there are actual seasons in Wyoming. I love the mountains, Snake River, and the wildlife. It’s a beautiful place to live.
I’ve always dreamed of living in Alaska. For some reason, I just love the idea of long nights and hunky mountain men.
I would love to somewhere warm and sunny like Miami.
Ooh that’s a toughie! I live in Colorado now and love most things about the land and the people, but I’m not wild about the cold. I know right? So I also loved the area around Ocala, Florida. Moss draped trees and Horse ranches everywhere. In a perfect world, I’d live in Colorado in the summer and Ocala in the winter. And when I win the lottery…….well it’s nice to dream!
I’ve lived in Calgary all my life and stil considerate a beautiful place because it is right between the mountains, foothills and prairies. However, my dream is to have an acreage outside the city as it would be a nice break from the city!
But there is always that fantasy about a cabin near the water…
Good news too, I can now preorder your books directly from Silver Publishing to my Kindle, I’m just waiting to confirm that with Total e Bound and then I can get caught up all the series!!! I had been hesitant to do it before because personal documents did not work with my Kindle cuz I’m in Canada, but the people at Silver helped me figure it out so I’m hoping TEB will be the same!!!
I love living near the Ocean, doesn’t matter which part of it, but sadly I have been land-locked for larger periods than not. I particularly loved living in Monterey, CA, but sadly it’s pretty expensive to live there and nowhere near my family
I have lived in Texas all my life.. but I would love to live somewhere cooler, some places like Montana or Colorado and some other country like Ireland or New Zealand.
My Favorite place to live is where I live now Santa Cruz Ca. I grew up here and it is so diverse and a little strange well ok a lot strange. But hay it wouldn’t be home if it wasn’t. Here is an example of what I mean. Yesterday I went to the 7-11 to get the paper. Sitting outside the store was a homeless man with a live bunny on his head and a guitar singing here comes peter cotton tail. Now I’m sorry but that is something you don’t see every day.
My first thought when I saw this guy was only in Santa Cruz. Awww Home.
I live in Seattle and I love living here! If I could live somewhere else I would like to live in Scotland or maybe Norway.
Pacific NW …. Fresh air and good food.
I would like to live in Washington state. From all that I have heard it seems to be a good place to live. I hope to know what its like to live there soon.
My favorite place to live would have to be Orlando. I’ve lived there for a few months a few times when I worked at Walt Disney World. So much to do and see in such a small area! It also helps I’m used to the weather having been born and raised in Houston.
I used to live on Las Vegas, and let me tell you the are amazing. I mean there are only 2 places that can be seen from outer space and Vegas is one of them. It is a great place to party and relax or to go out and rock climb. There are even places where you can take your kids while you gamble. The different shows that are offered by the hotels are great fun(and free). All in all a great place to take a vacation.
As I’m currently in Denmark thanks to a scholarship I have to say I’m homesick =)
It’s good and nice here but not like home with my family, in Hungary
i live in south florida and i have to tell you i would never move i love it here it’s sunny even in the winter (beach time all around) we have disney world a few hours away and i love the ocean so i spend alot of time at key west with the family what is there not to love about it here i have friends and family who move and regret it because they are home sick =)
I live in Florida now and I love the weather but when life gets to hard I always run away back to Jamaica for a few days just to get my head on straight. So, I think if I had to live anywhere it would be there. Especially now, since my parents are moving back there for good.
My favorite place to live would be Germany. I was an exchange student there for a year and loved it! If I could have packed up my whole family and brought them with me, I would be living there today. I was the first place where I could go into a church at any hour of the day or nite. Some of those old churches were really spectacular. It also has many museums and historical sites and I am a big history buff.
I have never lived there, but my best friend lives in Denver and I am dying to move there. If we are going to talk about somewhere I have lived or visited, my choice in the US would be Seattle. Outside the US, I think I would want to go back to Germany.
I live in a small town in New Jersey and I love it here there is no place I would rather live.
Germany! We are currently stationed here and love it!
I love living in Florida, but would love to live in Paris for a year
I’ve lived in Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Idaho, Oklahoma, and Maine…every place had something unique to offer and all were nice, but
as cheesy as this may sound…the location is not important to me….being with my husband is. So my favorite place is anywhere he is….
I have lived in west Texas all of my life and it is very dry here, plus right now we are in a drought. My dream place to live would be someplace with water and green trees and grass and flowers. I think I would even like a bit of snow but not to much. But most of all NO 100 PLUS DEGREES TEMPERATURE. It just gets hot here starting in April and going until October. And I have to tell you, that just gets old.
I grew up in a tiny town called Incline Village on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe. It was the best place in the wold to grow up and if I could afford it, my children would grow up there too.
I live in Arizona. Since it’s sooo hot here, I’d want to live somewhere coolor. Preferably in Northern California, which is where I’m from. Plus, I’d get to be closer to my family:-)
I like to live around Phoenix, Arizona. I love the heat.
pensacola fl more laid back and less touristy than panama city or destin but still beautiful beach. that being said home is where my husband and children are. I am truly blessed
What a great question. I grew up on a military base just outside Stuttgart, Germany and loved it so much there. I think this time I would want to actually be in Stuttgart. Especially in winter with the Christmas markets. So beautiful and it always left me in awe of the whole scene with the old castles standing next to it. But if I had to stay in the U.S. it would have to Boston. I’ve always been a New Englander by heritage and heart.
I live in Newcastle in the UK and its a nice place to live, if you don’t mind the cold and rain lol its a nice city where theres always something to do plus it’s not far from the coast and the countryside. If i was to move anywhere it would be too Ireland, its just a beautiful friendly place and ive always enjoyed holidays there.
My mother was raised in Newcastle.
I live in Oklahoma and would rather be almost anywhere else. The prairie sucks and blows. I like Texas but my allergies killed me in Austin. I miss the music, food and people in New Orleans but not the humidity and hurricanes. I do not miss the cold in Montana. Finally, the one I miss the most is New Mexico. I love the desert and felt better physically and emotionally there than any where else. Why did I leave? A question I ask myself daily, easily led by my children after my husband died. My advice to all is not to make such decisions when you are dealing with a loss.
Somewhere there is seasons even though the DH hates snow. We live in south Texas and there is only 2 seasons warm and HOT!
I would love to live on the beach along the gulf coast somewhere.
I’d love to live in a bustling city … But not full time j love my country village but it would be nice to have everything on the doorstep
Sarah S
I live in the tip of Texas, but I would love to live around Austin, San Antonio, or in College Station. I’m not a big city person
If I ever leave Texas I’ll probably live in Hawaii or somewhere with a similar climate. I went to Hawaii once and the weather is perfect! Not too hot or too cold, and an almost constant breeze. If not there then Montana or Wyoming I went on a family trip and fell in love with the climate, beautiful scenery, and abundant wildlife. Everyday was like a new adventure!
I would like to stay right here but the cost of living is high and when you retire it takes more than 1 person. I love Juneau Alaska it is the most beautiful place in the world.
Well I was pretty much raised in southern California and moved last summer the the Washington. I would way of all the areas I’ve been I like Monterrey Ca the best . Beautiful landscape, nice weather and amazing art culture.
San Diego, I used to spend summers there and I love it!
i enjoy living in Montreal – the cold weather sucks but the city is beautiful and so are the people. If the economy was better, or if I ever win the lottery, I would love to live in Greece.
I love Western North Carolina. Asheville is a great place and the mountains are absolutely breathtaking.
hmm I would like to live in tokyo, japan it always sounds so interesting
Wow, since I love to travel this is a hard one. I have lived in several different States and 5 years in Germany. So I would have to say Colorado would be my favorite so far.
I love living near the water. I live on Lake Ontario currently. It is beautiful. I would love to live the ocean as well.
Anywhere on the water, but Scotland would be my first choice.
Somewhere on the coast where the weather is mild (not too cold and not too hot). I haven’t figured out yet where that is. lol
I live in Australia, NSW, it gets pretty hot here and I LOVE winter so I wanna move to Tasmania, it doesn’t get as cold down there cause it’s near the Antarctic. Though I’d settle for anywhere thats either cool or cold year round.
what can I say I love the codl and the heat and humidity just about kills me every year.
I loved living in Seattle Washington! The night life there is amazing!!!
In a house close enough to the ocean that I can hear the waves crashing against the shore and feel the mist of the water. Hopefully it would be in Marshfield, MA.
Definitely somewhere warm. I would vote for Hawaii, but I have had SO many people tell me I would love San Diego that I may have to go with that one.
I want to live in Colorado. Edit. I want to live in a mountainous, forest kind of place. With snow during the cold season. I fell in love w/ Colorado after I watched a travel documentary-like program in the Lifestyle Channel when I was in grade school.
XD
Id like to live in the mountains. Right now I live in Florida and hiking and winter are two of my favorite things that DON’T happen here. I go on vacation to hike a couple times a year and Id love to move permamnently.
The only other place I’ve gone to live has been Sacramento. And as much as I loved that place it is SOooooooo boring compared to Los Angeles.
Though I think eventually I’d to live there… but the place I’d want to live… really?
Is a home of my own. I’m tired of living in rented places always worried that we’re going to have to move again. (I’ve already lost count of how many times we’ve had to move) I don’t want to move anywhere else, just have a House that is all ours and never worry about moving again.
I live in a small town in Georgia called, Trion. It is so small there are like 4 red lights in the whole town. I hate it here and would love to move. (No job and hubby on disablitiy, so dont see that happening.) Anywhere else but here would do. But I would love to move to Chicago. Everyone tells me I’m crazy, and I probably am but I would love to try it there, even if it is just for a year.
Phoenix. I miss it so much. The five years I spent there felt more like home than the 45 years I spent growing up in Illinois. And now in Kansas… I hate Kansas (sorry if stepping on anyone’s toes but IMHO)
Fiji
Well I live in New Jersey (thanks to Uncle Sam) so I have to say any place buy here! But I’d like to move to Florida to be close to my mom.
I would really want to live in Alaska. I would like a warm home with five dogs(I won’t bore you with what I plan on naming them). I really love snow and although I get it every winter, there seems to be less each year, so I’m moving north. If everyone moved where they wanted, I’d probably be pretty lonely up near the poles while everyone else was at the equator.
I would like to live in Arizona. I have lived in Illinois for my whole life. Actually anywhere would be better than here.
If I could be anywhere I would have to say Scotland. I would be sorounded with beautiful scenery and awesome historical castles. Of course I would have a hot stud with Scottish accent and wearing a kilt waiting hand and foot for me….. lol
I think that I would like to live in Australia or New Zealand for awhile. They still speak English (of a sort) and are close enough to visit the Orient fairly easily.
I’ve seriously been contemplating picking up stakes and moving from California to Maryland recently… haven’t decided yet though.
My favorite place to live has to be the coast, as a Florida baby I find it difficult to be truly at peace without the ocean near. My favorite place to live has sand dunes that roll out towards the water creating places to play hide and seek and dotted with sea oats that swish with wind. My favorite place to live has fowl flying overhead in boomer formations tipping and rolling while screaming calls to one another over the roar of the waves rebirthing the land. I’m sorry to say my favorite place to live no longer exist because progress has plowed it and put up a condo.
This may sound silly but my favorite place to live is right where My Husband & I live right now. He get to see his 2 daughters & his son & is granddaughter & grandson. My parents live very close to Us & my Father has been very ill for 18 months now, so I want as much time with him as possible. My 2 Brothers are here & my 2 nephews. We have a huge built in swimming pool & we Love having the family come over during the summer to just spend time together, no big party, just special time, it’s Really Nice! I wouldn’t ask for anything else.
Take care Amber & Have a Great Week,

I’ve lived in Southern California (I really liked living there), Little Rock, AR (no fond memories there), Bucks County Pennsylvania (my kids were born there) and now live on Seattle’s Eastside (which I love), but my most favorite place to live is my home town of Pearl City, Hawaii, where my mom still lives.
I really liked living in Ottawa, Ont. when I was going to school but I don’t think I would want to live there all the time. It’s just too far away from the fam. I just moved beginning of January from Petrolia to Oil Springs. I must say I am perferring Petrolia to Oil Springs. It is a little bit bigger, has more in it (restaurants and a grocery store) and it is closer to my work. (10 mins instead of 20). So I’m going to go with Petrolia.
I grew up in Ottawa. Spent almost my whole life there. I really miss Dow’s Lake, and the tulips all along the driveway. Then in summer it was colourful flowers. It was truly beautiful.
I love living in Melbourne,Australia i live in the suburbs but would love to live somewhere more country in Victoria. Love visiting people we know out in the country with wide open land, no noisy neighbors plus i’m a very private person with strangers
My favourite place is on the beach, by the ocean. I would have to say that is where I’d love to live. Somewhere there is no winter. I have always disliked to be cold, and even fall is too cold for me. So I want to live in the Caribbean, on an island where the pace isn’t so frenetic.
My Dad always used to kid me that when I grew up we’d go and be beach bums. Since I’m not the roughing it type, I’d reply that when either of us won the lottery, then we’d go be beach bums, and have a house on the beach. During hurricane season I’d go to San Diego so I could visit the animals all the time. Of course I’d have to spend time on the Islands of Hawaii.
So I guess what I’m saying is that I would split my time between those three places…if I had to narrow it down. That’s the best I can do.
I was just about to order your February books.
That’s a hard question. Italy, specifically the Fruili region about an hour or so north of Venice. We lived their for four years and it’s beautiful, right at the base of the mountains, the people are friendly and the food and wine are amazing. Or, Phuket, Thailand. Out of all the tropical, island paradises I’ve been to, that one was the most amazing. The sun, the snorkeling, the boating, the jet skis, the food. We usually don’t vacation at the same place twice because there are just so many great places I want to see but I plan to go back to Phuket. Any where my son and daughter-in-law are sent to by the military so I can be close to my grandbabies. As beautiful as Italy and Thailand are being near my grandchildren beats them out. There is nothing more beautiful than them.
I have not lived very many places yet, but i have been looking lately and Taos New Mexico or the Colorado mountains have been on my wish list. I will say Washington was a beautiful place to live and if I could live anywhere it would definately be a place with true seasons. The other requirement for me is living in a rural area away from people I love having privacy and wildlife around me.
Mountains, mountains mountains
was really fun in Colorado Springs, but not forced to this exact location… could be mountains and sea… maybe Tenerife or some other warm island with mountains and sea?
I’m afraid I would say…exactly where I am ( in California). I moved quite a bit growing up (military brat!) and the only place we stayed longer than a year or so was at a base in California. When my parent’s split, I was asked where I would want to go and of course I said here, since it felt like the only true home I could remember. Have been living here for MANY years now, and it feels great to have a home “spot” (sadly, i still move around within town).
My favorite place to live was San Diego, Ca. I lived there for 6 years with my husband. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever lived. Plus it is central to so much, LA, Vegas…etc. I would live there forever if I could.
I love Huntsville, Al. But if I could go any where any time I would live in New York, but I would want it to be in the time J. D. Robb writes about. With the understanding I would get to be Peabody working with Dallas.
Since that’s never happening I’ll stay where I’m at thank you!
I’ve always been interested in Texas. The idea of finding a real life cowboy is inspiring.
I had the opportunity to move to Montana many years ago, because of other obligations,I didn’t go. I think I would have liked it there.
I’ve always lived in the same town but if I could live anywhere I’d choose either Montana for the space to have a horse again or Hawaii for the weather and the beauty of it’s landscape.
I have always lived in Utah, but if I could go somewhere else, I think I would like to live in Oregon.
I have been to many place in the US and as well to other countries, I would have to say the place I would love to live would be London….I just love the accents
I have always wanted to live in the Rocky mountains, so I hope to live in Montana or Colorado when I am done with school. For right now I have to settle for the Appalachian mountains in Georgia, which is way prettier than the Minnesota plains I grew up in.
I will always have my home here in Hawaii.
I’ve always dreamt of living in the Australian Outback, there’s just something about the rocks and the earth and the feel of ancient times that images of it evoke. Someday maybe
Back at home….lol, I’d like to live where my mom does the cooking, most of the cleaning (I was as helpful as a typical kid), most of the laundry and most importantly – pays all the bills!! Hmm…yep I would love to live at home in the lovely house I grew up in.
I would love to live back in Ipswich, England. I was born there, before emigrating to Australia with my parents and sisters. We still have the rest of our family there and i would love to be back there with them.
I would love to live somewhere down south, maybe like Virginia or Georgia. I live up north right now and it’s ok but I hate the snow!
I loved Daytona Beach when I visited my sis there so that would be on my list
