  3. My mom is from Holland and we always plant tulip bulbs….once they pop up in March we know it’s spring. So for me it’s Tulips 🙂

  8. I absolutely love daisies! They are my favorite flower! They are such a happy flower that just makes me smile. Plus they come in so many colors and varieties. Everyone who buys me flowers always makes sure that there are daisies. :-).

  10. My favorite flower is a pansy. I love the yellow and purple ones best. I remember as a child watching them blooming through the last snow.

  13. It’s difficult to say around here this year, cos we’ve had late snow and its still freezing temperatures the poor spring flowers are still in hiding. But as soon as they’re available I love to buy Daffodils for the house. We’ve recently moved home and it appears I have Daffs in the garden too. Bonus.

    I love daisies! They are my all time favorites. Hydrangeas come in 2nd, but mostly from a sentimental perspective. My grandmother that died when I was a teenager had them in her yard.

  29. Its a tie between tulips and cherry blossoms. I lived in Japan for 3 years when I was 10 and the cherry blossoms were so pretty. 🙂

  30. I eagerly await the first crocus. It’s usually sticking it’s up through the snow,but I know spring is coming soon.

  44. Tulips are my favorite BC you know spring is here but I love pansy BC they are so pretty and have so many colors they make me happy.

  45. I have several favorite spring flowers….I love Lilacs and Hyacinths. I also love pansies. I love flowers in general and always stop to enjoy whatever flowers are blooming at the time.

  58. Congrats, Amber. My favorite flower is the carnation. It does not matter on the color. Around my house I love the the bearded irises. It means spring is here.

  59. I dont know if it is a spring flower but I always knew it was warm to stay when the lilacs bloomed.

  63. My favorite is the crocus. It’s name also sounds like something a frog would say and I associate frog song with spring/summer as well.

    Uhm.. so spring flowers…
    i don’t know if it counts but bloodroot is a late spring flower that i simply adore. It’s very cute and white-ish. Kind of similar to marguerites 😀

  69. Where I live it hard to say what a spring flower is since I’ve had Cala lilies blooming for months now and my orchids just budded. But I guess I’d go with paperwhite narcissus, since those were always the first to bloom in my Mom’s garden while growing up.

  70. Congratulations, Amber I just love reading your books. My favorite spring flower is the snow drop. They are right now coming up even though in Minnesota we still have snow.

  71. The determined little crocus. I am a New Englander, and here these poor little flowers are often snowed on, but they never give up and keep on blooming. Love the little things.

  79. The first flowers that bloom at the end of winter here are the rhododendron trees near the train station. They aren’t exactly spring flowers and mine don’t flower until much later, but they are my favourite.

    Damn I wish our flowers were in bloom but we still have snow on the ground and woke up to snow. Thankfully it didn’t stick.
    My fave spring flowers are tulips.

  81. Have always loved lilacs since I was a little girl. When I was young I would walk home from school. When the lilacs were in bloom, I would plan my route so that I would pass by them and everyday I would pick some to bring home with me.

  85. My favourite spring flower is a gumtree blossom. Its really pretty, delicate and by the time they bloom the whole garden is green and sunny. 🙂

    My favorite flower is the Cherry blossom. My tree in the front of my house is in full bloom and it is so beautiful. I have to enjoy it now, beceause it only blooms for such a short time.

  116. Just finished reading To Carch a Croc and know i can’t wsit for the next book in the series. my favorite spring floer is the Daffodil. Daffodils just have a way of making me smile.

  127. My favorite spring flower is the Columbine – they grow wild in the mountains here in Colorado, and I love to go hiking when they start to bloom.

My Favourite has to be Bluebells – they smell so gorgeous and you see them so rarely – I always remember my mum telling me not to pick them because they are protected and so everyone can get to enjoy them. You always find them nestled deep in some glorious wooded area – this burst of pure blue gorgeousness breaking up the 100 shades of greens and brown. Simply stunning.
