Blurb:

How can you find yourself when you don’t know where to start?

For Rocky, the move from Indiana to Maryland isn’t half as daunting as the prospect of finally taking the time to explore his sexuality. Luckily for him, Rocky has his brother’s best friend for a guide…

Landon had all but given up on finding someone to spend his life with. Hope sparks in his chest when he meets Rocky, whose naturally submissive nature perfectly complements Landon’s dominance. As Landon introduces Rocky to the world of BDSM, the two men learn that sometimes you have to traverse a rocky road to find your way to happiness.

Excerpt:

“So,” Rocky jumped at the sound of Landon’s voice. “Is it me that makes you nervous or are you this way with everyone?”

“Just you.” Rocky felt the blush crawl up his face and dipped his head, hoping Landon wouldn’t notice.

“At least you’re honest.” Landon chuckled. “Don’t worry, Rocky; I promise not to molest you.” He paused, and when he spoke again his voice had taken on a salacious quality. “Well, unless you ask real nice.”

Rocky glanced up at Landon, unable to control the shiver that ran through him at the way Landon’s voice dropped an octave.

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“I think you know what it means. I admit I’m attracted to you, and I wouldn’t mind getting better acquainted.” Landon said it matter-of-factly.

“Me?” Rocky’s jaw dropped and his eyes widened in shock. “Really, is this some kind of joke?”

Not bothering to hide the fact he was checking him out, Landon raked his eyes over Rocky. “You find it hard to believe I’d find you attractive?”

Rocky’s face got redder, and he couldn’t help feeling like a teenager instead of a twenty-four-year-old man. “Well, yeah, I mean, look at you.”

For some reason, that seemed to greatly amuse Landon. “When you opened the door this morning, wearing nothing but boxers, all soft from sleep with a bad case of bed head, it was all I could do to keep from molesting you right there.”

As Landon spoke, he leaned forward, lowering his voice with each word. Rocky found himself unconsciously mirroring his movements until they were only a few inches apart.

Their eyes met, heat sparking between them. Landon’s gaze dropped to Rocky’s mouth and then moved back up to his eyes. In response, Rocky licked his lips, and his erection throbbed behind the confines of his zipper. “Can I kiss you?”

Already it felt as if his heart was going to beat out of his chest, and Landon hadn’t even touched him. He wasn’t sure he was going to survive it if he actually kissed him. He closed his eyes, needing a few minutes to pull himself together.

“Look at me. Keep your eyes on me. You can say, ‘No.’ You hold the power here.” Landon’s voice was calm, steady, in control.

The tension built, and Rocky swallowed a few times and then finally nodded. He saw the corner of Landon’s mouth turn up. “Say it.”

Rocky licked his dry lips. “Yes.” If he had been able to think about anything other than kissing Landon, he might have beenembarrassed by how breathy and unsure he sounded. As it was, there was no room in his mind for anything but Landon at the moment.

He held his breath. His heart raced. Landon lifted his hand and gently grazed the skin of Rocky’s face. Rocky’s eyes closed, and he sighed. When seconds ticked by and nothing happened, he opened them.

“Keep them open.” There wasn’t much reprimand in his smooth voice. Landon slid his hand around to the nape of Rocky’s neck and pulled him in. At the first touch of Landon’s lips, Rocky’s eyes fell shut again, and a shiver raced up his spine.

Moving Rocky’s head the way he wanted it, Landon controlled the kiss. He took everything achingly slow, building the anticipation and driving Rocky insane. He shivered again when Landon’s warm breath ghosted over his wet mouth.

Rocky wanted to dive right in, but Landon held him back, forcing him to go at his pace. Landon nibbled at his bottom lip, kissed the corner of his mouth, and finally ran his tongue over his lower lip then slipped it into Rocky’s mouth at an agonizingly slow pace.

A whimper escaped—he was on edge. It wouldn’t take much to push him over, and all from a kiss. Rocky had never been so turned on in his life.

Landon tipped Rocky’s head back, deepening the kiss, mapping every inch of Rocky’s mouth with his tongue. Rocky blindly gripped Landon’s shoulders, needing something to hold onto. When he did, Landon pulled Rocky to his feet, never breaking the kiss.

He allowed Landon to move him the way he wanted, glad he wasn’t expected to actually think. He wasn’t sure it would even be a remote possibility at this point.

At the feel of Landon pressed against him, Rocky moaned. Landon pulled him into his arms. Rocky wrapped his arms around Landon, holding on tight, afraid to let go. At the feel of Landon’s erection against his own, Rocky groaned and feared hislegs might not hold if he didn’t cum in his jeans first.

About the time he thought his legs were going to give out, Landon’s arm locked around his waist, holding him in place. Landon broke the kiss slowly, and Rocky heard himself whimper at the loss. He should be embarrassed, but he couldn’t fine the energy to care. Later, once he was able to think clearly, he was sure he’d be mortified by his actions, but not right then. All he cared about was kissing Landon again.

When he leaned forward to do just that, Landon used the grip on his neck to keep him where he was. Rocky frowned and tried to move again, only to realize Landon had him trapped. At that realization, his cock throbbed even more. His arms were pinned at his side, and Landon’s hand was fisted in his hair. Rocky tried to step back, but Landon anticipated his move. The throbbing grew worse, and he was sure he was going to lose it any second.

His eyelids sprung open, and he gazed into the baby blue eyes in front of him. What he saw there made him gasp. The pale blue color from earlier had darkened with arousal. Landon’s lips were bright red and slightly swollen. His hair was messed up, and Rocky realized he must’ve done that, even if he didn’t remember doing it. Landon’s lips were slightly parted as he tried to catch his breath. It was the sexiest sight Rocky had ever seen.

Seeing Landon that way made him wonder how he looked at that moment. Were his lips swollen? They felt swollen and maybe even bruised. Were his eyes glazed and his face flushed as well?

When a throat cleared behind him, Rocky jumped, startled out of whatever spell Landon had cast. He tried once more to move away, only to have Landon stop him again. When he did, Rocky couldn’t help but moan. He watched as a wicked smile crawled across Landon’s lips. After placing a quick but gentle kiss on Rocky’s mouth, Landon took a step back.

When Rocky glanced over his shoulder at his brother, he saw the worry on his face. Jace took in Rocky’s appearance. A frown appeared, which he directed at Landon. So much passed between the two without a word being said.

Author Bio:

Lynley Wayne is the pen name of a thirty-something female living on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. When not writing, she can usually be found reading and thinking up creative ways to avoid housework. She is married to a very understanding husband who doesn’t complain when she spends hours in front of the computer and he ends up having to fix supper on occasion. Or when she asks random off the wall questions. Or when she talks for hours about whatever story she’s working on. Yeah, basically he’s vying for sainthood.

Lynley strongly believes everyone is entitled to their own version of happiness, no matter how it may differ from the norm. She writes characters she wants to read and hopes others enjoy them as much as she enjoyed writing them.

It is her hope that one day society will be able to look past the labels and see the person behind it. That they will realize we are all the same. Until that time comes, she will continue telling stories of a love others may believe is wrong, but she thinks is nothing short of beautiful.
