Today’s question: What is your favorite Holiday? Enjoy this peek at Trials of Tam!

Blurb:

Tam’s genius IQ has let him have his way in most everything in life. That all comes to a halt when his family petitions to join a new pack and the Alpha’s price of admission is a chance to call Tam his own.

Tam is willing to play by the Alpha’s rules, but he won’t be pushed. Valko has some strong opinions about who’s in charge. And it’s not Tam.

Not about to roll over and show his belly for any man, Tam soon learns he might be the smartest person in the pack, but sometimes it’s the sneakiest wolf who wins in the end.

“Greetings, Mr. Larson.”

The man’s voice was smooth like good whiskey. Following the sound, Tam decided it matched its owner. A beautiful man, John Lesley had caramel hair and deep blue eyes.Tam took a deep whiff, a growl building in his throat as he detected the reason behind the other man’s good looks.

The receptionist fled and slammed the door behind her.

“You’re a vampire!” Tam’s hackles raised a bit, the wolf inside him readying for
battle.

Shifters and vamps didn’t make agreeable bedfellows, mostly because vampires
wanted to suck them dry. Apparently, wolf blood acted as an incredible aphrodisiac to
vampire-kind.

“And you’re a werewolf.” Lesley’s eyes glowed with pleasure. “They never mentioned that little fact. Amazing. Generally, your kind doesn’t have the patience to do such detailed work.”

“What can I say, I’m a freak among my kind,” Tam said dryly.

Fuck. A vampire. Do I really want to work for a vamp? The thought of working for a bloodsucker rattled around in his mind as he tried to see how he felt about this new development. His wolf growled a bit but didn’t immediately want to attack the other man.

Lesley stood and approached, every step slow and cautious, as if he worried Tam’s
wolf would snap its leash and attack.

“I’m not a rabid dog, I don’t attack without provocation.” Tam blithely ignored the
growling wolf inside him.

He liked to think of himself as an ambassador to wolf-kind. With his slim form and
mild manner, most people never even suspected his wolf half.

“I have to say from everything I’ve read about you, I was expecting someone completely different. I wanted your skills before, but now I simply won’t rest until I have you in my company.”

“Be prepared for disappointment.” Tam didn’t feel a keen urge to explain to his family why he’d taken leave of his senses and decided to work for a vampire.

They might have taken his sexuality in stride, but they wouldn’t appreciate him
working for the undead.

Tam’s phone rang.

The vampire laughed. “Please go ahead and answer.”

“Sorry about that.”

Tam reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone without taking his eyes off the
other man. He stabbed the connect button with an impatient gesture without checking the
readout. “Hello.”

Valko’s voice came across the line, cold and hard. “I heard a ridiculous rumor that you went to interview with John Lesley on your own. Tell me I heard wrong!”

“Nope, he’s right here,” Tam said in a calm voice.

The fury in Valko’s voice made the idea of working for a vampire start to grow in its
appeal.

“Get the fuck out of there. He’s a vampire!” Valko shouted.

Pushing the disconnect button, he gave the vampire a wide smile. “My Alpha sends his regards.”

Lesley threw back his head and laughed. “Oh, my dear wolf, we are going to be the greatest of friends.”

  1. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I love cooking for everyone and seeing everyone gathered around the table enjoying good food and company.

  2. Well…. I guess I like halloween because of the fun costumes everyone comes up with sometimes and it’s the one day of the year where I can be totally 100% weird and it’s okay. lol

  3. I live with the Halloween theme all year round, so my favourite holiday would have to be Christmas. This is when I suffer heat waves and sunburn but dream of snow flakes and sweet mm romances.

  4. The fourth of July; sparkly explosions, icy cold watermelon, homemade ice cream and juicy grilled burgers. What’s notto love about that?

  5. Easter is my favorite. Growing up we flew kites on Good Friday, hot cross buns were made by the dozen and spending time with family made it the best holiday.

  6. My favorite is Mother’s Day…my brother makes sure all us Mom’s have breakfast made for us or that we go to a buffet….such a nice day.

  7. My favorite holiday is New Year/New Year’s Eve, because in my family we don’t celebrate Christmas (since my great-grandmother died very close to it), so in my family New Year is what Christmas is for most families (minus the gifts). We all get together, even relatives that live in other countries, and celebrate together.

  8. I love the fall holidays and have a hard time choosing between Halloween and Christmas!

  9. I love Halloween love going to haunted houses to get the bejesus scared out of me… Good for the heart you know!! 😀

  10. Definitely has to be Christmas for me. The decorations, trees, festive atmosphere. It brings a smile to my face all month long. I think we tend to think more about others and less about ourselves.. (Adore Trials of Tan!!)

  11. I love Halloween. Because of the legends and costumes. The stories about things that go bump in the night.
I really loved reading The Trials Of Tam. I’ve reread it many times for the humor and the heat between Tam and his Alpha. I hope to see more books in that story line.

  12. Halloween. The 1st of November to the 1st of January is a total stress fest. I’d like to read more about the Larson family.

  13. I love Christmas. Snow, Christmas trees, decorations and the most important part…being together with family and friends.

  14. I have to say Christmas because my kids love the lights and we make cookies and it just seems to be a whole month of celebrating not just one day.

  15. My favorite holidays are Thanksgiving and Christmas. Those are the two that my whole family always get together.

  16. I’m a fan of a quite holiday so I’ll have to say New Year’s day. It’s fun to watch the parade on TV and just sit around. 🙂

Looking forward to reading more about Tam.

  17. Samhain, otherwise known as Holloween is my favorite holiday. I do enjoy Winter Solstice, but the past few years I haven’t spent it with family so it’s been kind of lonely.

  18. Favorite holiday is Christmas. You pick a name and you buy a thouhtful gift. Something you have to put thought into. We go to midnight service and remember why we celebrate this day.

  19. Memorial Day, a day remembrance for those who have died in service for my freedoms. Great weather, friends and memories.

  20. I have always loved Christmas the best. The lights, the joy of giving. Especially the time taken to be with loved ones.

  21. Thanksgiving. Loads of good food and good company, without the stress of gifts.
Now I have to go re read Trials of Tam.

  22. Tam was a great story I laughed so hard in some parts have reread it often one of my favorites. 4th of July love summer.

  23. Christmas is my favorite holiday, including the time leading up to it after Thanksgiving. We have lots of little traditions that are fun.

  24. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I tend to go a little overboard on decorating and goodies, and buying gifts. 😊

  25. I actually adore the trifecta of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. These past few years have been tough. My husband got a job that moved us from FL to WA. ALL of our family is back in FL. I am a SAHM so it’s been lonely up here for me. I miss my in-laws so much that I cry a lot thinking about them. This year my kids all got a stomach bug on thanksgiving, to which my husband and I subsequently caught as well. Here’s to hoping Christmas goes well 😁

  26. Halloween is my favorite holiday. All the decorations and the fun of being able to change your identity for at least a day.

  27. My favorite Holiday is Christmas. It is nice to see everybody in a giving mood. Plus, I love baking for my friends and family. It is a tradition I truly love.

  28. Christmas is my favorite. There are presents, food, friends, family. There is the magic of the season and the hope for goodwill.

  29. I think Halloween is my favorite. Fall is my favorite time of year and they may be a contributing factor as well 🙂

  30. as a “season” Christmas wins, but as an individual day it’s Thanksgiving that tops my list as it’s when more of the extended family gather together at once and just enjoys being together

  31. I love Thanksgiving, I enjoy everyone getting together and in my family we say what we are thankful for that year it great!

  32. I love Christmas. Its so festive and the decorations are a big plus for me and its the one holiday where I am sure to see all my family !!!

  33. My love/hate holiday is New Years Day. We’re oriental and that’s day that family & friends gather at our house, even more than Xmas.
Days of cooking and cleaning, then an explosion of people and football.

  34. My favorite holiday is Christmas. The holiday movies on tv, the christmas lights going up in the neighborhoods and getting the christmas tree setup. Oh and no school for 2 weeks.

  35. Sorry to say I don’t have a favourite holiday, but I have a favourite season and I must admit it’s spring. I love watching all the new growth on the trees and in the fields and hedgerows and the sounds of new animals that have been born.

  36. Christmas is my favorite holiday because that is the one holiday all my family is together parents siblings grands and great-grands.

  37. My favorite holiday is Pi Day (3/14), since I was always a bit of a geek in school (plus, you get to eat pie!). I’m also fond of Boxing Day, since almost no one in the U.S. has ever heard of it.

  38. My favorite has to be Christmas. Because people are more prone to do good deeds and help each other during the Christmas holidays. Plus I love to watch my family reactions to the gifts I get them. I also love to wrap presents, even though I am not good at wrapping.

  39. Christmas. I love getting together with family and sitting around in jammies all day. Cooking with my mom and sister. Just being with family

  40. My favorite holiday is Easter. My mom always made my siblings and I 2 baskets one by the Easter bunny and one from her. She always made it really special.

  41. I love Tam! I hope that someday this series get continued.

My favorite holiday is Halloween. I have way to much fun with my costume!

  42. My favorite is Thanksgiving because of all the craziness of decor n making food love it I always volunteer my house for it

  43. I have to say that I honestly do not have a favorite holiday. I just love being able to have any excuse to spend time with my family. Getting them gifts for birthdays or Christmas, making special dinners – everything and anything that can be used as an excuse – is used.

  44. I have to say that I honestly do not have a favorite holiday. I just love being able to have any excuse to spend time with my family. Getting them gifts for birthdays or Christmas, making special dinners – everything and anything that can be used as an excuse – is used.

  45. Loved Trials of Tam. Wanting more in the series. My favorite holiday I think is July 4th. Grew up in FL and was always fun going to the beach at night and shooting fireworks at each other.

  46. I love Christmas because it is the one time of year that I get to see some of my family and it’s also when I buy things for family and friends that I know they will enjoy.

  47. Thanksgiving is my favorite. Growing up, it was our big family holiday, and I got to see all my cousins.

  48. Thanksgiving as an adult…giving thanks for all that has made me the person i am today and the people in my life that were part of my journey!

  49. I love Christmas because we get an extended vacation and get to visit family. And I love Thanksgiving because we get an extended weekend and it is just us and we live far enough from everyone that we don’t have to visit family. 😉

  50. my favorite day is my birthday because I can do what I want whether its veggie on sofa all day or going out with friends and celebrating its my day

  51. All of them for different reasons. I love Easter because it means Spring is here, Memorial Day because the pools are open for Summer, Fourth of July for the Fireworks, Labor Day because the kids have gone back to school, Halloween because Autumn is here, Thanksgiving and Christmas because the family gets together. New Year’s because everything is starting over.

  52. That is a hard question to answer. But I would have to say Thanksgiving and Christmas as the other holidays I can’t spend with the whole family as they are usually working.
