Birthdays aren’t a big deal for me. But I’m going to tell you of one that was both fun and embarrassing. A few years ago Dominic and I were on a cruise over my borthday and he had told them when my birthday was. I wasn’t aware of it at the time. So on the day, at dinner, our server bring me out a huge special dessert from the captain’s table and then half the dang dining room staff gathered around the table to sing happy birthday. It was totally embarrassing and one of the sweetest things ever. Dominic it seemed was totally thrilled that he’s surprised me and I got over the embarrassment quickly. There were no presents or candles, but I’ll always remember that day for what’s truly important. THE DESSERT It was amazing!!!!!
