  10. I am a cat person, first and foremost. I also like dogs, but while I can see myself live with 1 dog at the time at most, I can see myself living with multiple cats. But since my nanny turned out to be allergic to cats, we are now looking to adopt one or two bunnies from a shelter. Cute and cuddly, and a good way to teach my girls responsibility with pets (supervised)!

  23. Totally a dog person. I have 2, an English Bulldog and a Lhasa Apso and they are my boys and follow me everywhere.

  24. I like dogs. They need to be a big breed, Doberman, Great Dane and Mastiff. These are ones that I’ve had. No tiny yappy dogs.

  29. I’m a dog person. I have 2 Schnauzers. A toy Schnauzer named Nemo and a mini Schnauzer named Sienna.

  37. At one point we had a mini zoo. We had 1 dog, 3 cats, 5 hamsters, 2 snakes, 1 salamander and 2 turtles…and a partridge in a pear tree!!!

I’m living with my cousin and she has a dog and the dog hair all over the place is killing me especially since I can’t even wipe my hands on a towel without getting dog hair on them and wearing contacts I’m just waiting for the day I get an eye infection *siiiiigh*

  47. As long as it’s not slimy, I’m not picky. We have birds, cats and dogs in our zoo. I refuse to go to my cousin’s because of the snakes, even though I know they aren’t slimy.

  54. I love all animals but I do love my cats, I currently have 4 named sport, gizmo, tigger and fluffy with tigger getting ready to have some little babies pretty soon lol.

  59. I am a dog person. I love that you can run and play with them. My kids crawl all over mine and they don’t do anything(toddlers). I enjoy getting them to lay down and snuggle too!

  73. I’m with Bronwyn, not much of an animal person – but if I had to choose, a dog. Never, ever, ever birds.

  76. I actually love the way any animal makes me feel – important, needed and accepted by them – so for me it’s dogs, cats, rabbits, etc. I had menagerie of pets growing up so I have a special place in my heart for all animals.

  77. unfortunately i am allergic to most dogs and cats so it would be none of the ones you mentioned. however, i have had goldfish……does this count?…lol

  78. Been a dog person for much of my life but imagine my surprise when last year I became mom to 5 cats as well as my 3 dogs.

  102. I have mainly had cats, but I like dogs, too. Right now we have two indoor cats. We put out feeders for the birds (two types of seed and nectar for hummingbirds). We also have several tarantula in our backyard and a small non-venomous snake in the front yards. And at least a dozen lizards, one of which lives part time in the garage under the workbench.

  119. A cat person, I always felt special connection with these animals. Somehow they always know when you not feel well and then the fluffy ball is instantly laying on you lap.

  127. A dog person, for sure. (It’s a bit of an unfair comparison, because I’m allergic to cats.) I never used to be much of a dog person either, but then I got my Tucker boy 2 years ago and lost my heart to a brown and white English Springer who lights up my life. ❤
