Welcome Birthday Guest RJ Scott!

Hi guys!

I’m RJ Scott, and I’m so happy to take part in Amber’s birthday bash! The theme for this post is my most significant birthday, and that isn’t an easy one to think on. I love my birthday, it’s early September and it’s right as Fall starts to happen, and as that is my favorite season I’m super happy!

I guess my most significant birthday was when I turned 50 a couple of years ago. The celebrations went on for days, LOL, weeks even. I celebrated with family, friends, even had a weekend at a hotel with other authors. I felt truly loved by a whole bunch of people, and absolutely loved it all. To me 50 is just a number, inside I’m still in my thirties 🙂

My newest series is the Single Dads series, starting with Single as book 1, Today which is book 2, and with book 3 out on 22 November.

You can win a $10 gift card if you comment below with one of your favorite birthday memories, or if you just say hello 🙂 (Giveaway closes on November 12th)

HUGS, Rj xxxxx

Blurb:

Reeling from the painful rejection of a man he thought he loved, Asher is left holding the baby.
Ash wants a family, and is determined to continue with a surrogacy he’d begun with his ex. Bringing baby Mia home, he vows that he will be the best father he can be. Nothing in this world matters more to him than caring for his daughter, not even accidentally falling in lust with the doctor next door. Challenged by his growing attraction to Sean, and confronted by painful memories of his family, Ash has to learn that love is all that matters.
When ER doctor Sean moves in with his friends next door to sexy single father Ash, he falls so quickly it takes his breath away. The sex they have is hot, but Ash is adamant his heart is too full with love for his daughter to let anyone else in. Why is Sean the only one who sees how scared Ash is, and how can he prove to his new lover that he desperately wants the three of them to become a family?

Thanks so much for having me over! Happy Birthday, Amber!

  1. My favorite birthday was the first after my son was born; nothing trumps that first birthday baby cuddle.

  2. I am so excited for book three to come out!
*looks around for fast forward button* 🤪
I wpuld have to say my most memorable was the one almost a year after my first son was born. Evenbthough he was only 9 months old he made me an amazing card…although I highly suspect his daddy made it. Lol But it started a tradition of both my boys making me a card for my birthday. Luckily the youngest still does this, along with his wife, because they know I’d rather have that than a store bought one.

  3. My favorite was 50. My family planned a surprise party and son & daughter-in-law, who live in Texas, flew to Buffalo with my 7 month old grandson whom I had not seen since he was born. I cried for days with happiness.

  4. My favorite was when we combined my college graduation with my birthday. All my extended family came together to celebrate and we had one cake for each occasion. It was a blast of a party.

  5. Hi, enjoy your books, I am glad you enjoyed your 50th birthday. On my 50th birthday my sister kept asking me how it felt to be half-century old, lol.

  6. I just turned 40 so yeah it’s just a number. It would be fun to celebrate for days. My favorite memory is my dad. His birthday is Valentines Day and we were never allowed to celebrate anything but his birthday. He was a big baby and would stand in the middle of anywhere full tantrum screaming it’s not Valentines Day it’s my birthday.

  7. 50 is just a number…I keep telling myself that!! My favorite Birthday was when I turned 50 actually! My Mom and brother surprised me at work (I lived in Ohio, they live in California) it was truly wonderful. Had an amazing time!!
    Love your books!
    Hugs

  8. A long time ago far far away my Mother took me out to a Chinese restaurant for dinner. My first grown up non hamburger dinner. I was 16 and I remember the deep fried shrimp to this day. Love your stories.

  9. Hello beautiful lady. My most memorable birthday was when I turned 13. My daddy drove a coal truck and he stopped at a department store on his way home and went in and bought me a strawberry shortcake birthday card and signed it Love,Dad. He never done stuff like that. My momma was always the one to do it. My daddy was so amazing. I miss him everyday.

  10. Thank you for sharing! Today is my 35th birthday and I’m sharing it with my babies and mother-in-law. My favorite birthday was when I was 22 and the man I dated at the time took me to Europe for a week. We went to so many memorable places! It was so amazing I loved it!

  11. Hi! My fav birthday memory was when I was 18, we had a crazy birthday party in my parents’ garage…

  12. Blurb sounds exciting. I love series. I love seeing how their lives develop. Revisiting beloved characters.

  13. Thanks for asking. My 13th birthday was amazing. I don’t know how they did it, but my mom and my BFF set up a surprise birthday party for me. I was shocked speechless. Best birthday ever!

  14. This series looks fun.
Hmm. My 44th birthday a few years ago was nice. Nothing too special, except I went to visit my daughter and her husband (who live 3000 mines away from me), and by the time I returned home, I had a new job offer and had decided to move to their coast.

  15. Hello!! We didn’t really do anything special for birthdays growing up. My mom would make us a cake and that’s about it.

  16. My favorite birthday memories are all from my childhood. The parties were simple, but fun.

  17. Hello! I don’t really have 1 specific birthday memory, but as a child, I was just happy when my birthday did NOT fall on Thanksgiving so I would get a cake instead of pie. 😀

  18. My favorite birthday is going on a cruise with my twin, brother in law, nephew, and niece.

  19. My favorite birthday was this year’s when I turned *mumble mumble* years old and DH surprised me with a night away at our favorite hotel, dinner with in laws and picked up the boy from college to celebrate with me. Perfect in opinion and made all the more special because he planned this out of the blue and he NEVER does this. lol

  20. Hi, I’ve never had a very great birthday but a few of them were memorable. The most memorbale one is when my sister and I was younger. Our parents would be working so our older siblings would babysit us. So birthdays were forgotten and my sister just went out for a sec and picked up a cupcake in celebration.

  21. Hello! My favorite birthday(s) was not for me, but for my dad. He was born on Christmas, so we always had his favorite birthday cake (cherry chip) and birthday cards & gifts, just for him. Thanks for sharing your birthday!

  22. My favorite birthday was last week when I turned 55. I celebrated the entire weekend and was able to get in quality reading time. It’s special because now after a thirty+ year career if I want to retire, I can!

  23. My favorite and most memorable birthday was my 13th birthday. I got to spend it with my best friend and my family. We went to a Christmas parade, out for a nice dinner and got to stay in this nice hotel in the cities. It was pretty awesome. Even my birthday cake was awesome. It had a picture of me and my dog on it.

  24. Being surprised with getting my ears pierced 3 years earlier than I had been told I was allowed to.
